Boston's Second Birthday

Boston turned two! I can't believe it.
He turned two, and suddenly isn't a tiny baby anymore.  I love two year olds, I find them so funny, and Boston is probably the funniest.  He is not lacking personality that's for sure!
Boston loves balls of any kind, and loves golf, so I decided to throw him a golf birthday party.  It was so fun watching him run around with his little friends.  I loved watching his reaction to opening his presents, blowing out candles on a cake, and getting to eat way too many cupcakes!  My parents got Boston a bike, and he was so thrilled.  He's been asking to ride it every day since.  Jordan and I got him a mini golf cart that I was so excited about, it is one of the cutest things I have ever seen.  Boston loved it, and loves riding around on it!  It was such a fun party, and the best part was watching Boston's excitement all day long.  I love my little two year old. Happy Birthday Boston!

Boston at 19 months

Boston is growing up.  He is a wild one.  He is constantly going.  I have said before he is either sleeping, or running, there is no in between.  He is also the happiest child I know.  He may be wild and exhaust me some days, but he is smiling all day long.  Boston loves to pull faces at himself in the mirror, or in the camera.  He always gives me these funny looks out of the corner of his eye.  Boston can tell you where is nose, eyes, lips, head, belly and toes are.  Ask him where is nose is and he sniffs, and ask where his lips are and he will start licking.  He knows the sound a cow, cat, dog, horse, and indian says.  If Boston sees something he wants to eat he starts licking his lips.  When I sneeze he tells me "bless you".  He asks me daily for Ryan's cat Maddy.  And gets very disappointed saying "no ma-ey".   His newest words to his vocabulary are Ry, Papa, Tayson, Ma-ey, bless you, cookie, cracker, bite, bubbles, water, na-night, show, and bye-bye guys.  At 19+ months, he is a complete joy to have around.

Boston's First Day of Nursery

Boston is a very social child.  He loves to play and loves other kids.  We've spent the last few months at church, wandering the halls, taking walks outside and chasing birds because he can't sit still.  He's tried running into nursery a few times as well.  I thought the transition to nursery would be so great and easy for him.  I was wrong.  His first week we dropped him off, he saw a slide and seemed to be doing ok.  I checked on him a few times, and every time he was being held.  I was told he had a few breakdowns.  The next time I decided to stay the first half.  Any time he thought I might leave, he would run to the door and cry.  After I left, he cried.  I checked on him during snack time and again he was on the teachers lap.  Though I am told after that he did so well.  So let's cross our fingers that third time's a charm.
